Picture from last nights shoot. We hired out lights, mic and generator from uni. We used baking paper over the lights to create soft light which made the scene look much more like night time. We transferred a bed to the living room so it gave us room to work around it.

Testing out some different shots while trialling one of our possible actors. Resident of cube so easy to get when needed, also eager for the spot.

Although we are going to shoot in a 'Film Noir' style we still want to incorporate colour, using it as an element to add to build our story, showing change and difference. Shots from before the crash will be much more vibrant and well lit in comparison to after which will be desaturated and dark. We will also using colour to our advantage in regard to the character's skin and attire. Pre crash shots will be much more vibrant and normal skin toned with post crash shots featuring dark scruffy clothes and pale skin. This reflects the character's lack of care for his visual appearance and emotional downfall.

The trailer for 'Momento', however is hard to understand the scene order just from this.
